What kind of books do you take?
We are looking for individual titles and sets, generally scientific and technical books, that would be useful to researchers in the coming years. The best way to get a feel for the types of books we purchase is to go to our What We're Looking For page. back to top
Unfortunately, no. With the advent of electronic journal media there has been a flooded marketplace for used printed and bound journals. back to top
Depending on the title, condition, age, etc. there is no way to set a price without us seeing the books or a detailed listing. However, we usually pay $2 - $5 per title with the average around $3 per volume. back to top
Yes. Library markings, pockets, bar codes, etc. are all fine. We are seeking to preserve the information within the book and are not overly concerned with normal library markings. back to top
How do I get the books to you?
There are a variety of ways, depending on the quantity of books you have as well as your geographical location. When we come in person, we box the books up and transport them ourselves. If we ask you to ship the books to us, you box the books up and we will make arrangements for shipping. Each shipment to us must be pre-authorized. back to top
Who pays for shipping the books?
We do as long as the shipment is pre-authorized. We will make shipping arrangements at the time of purchase. back to top
What do you do with the books?
We think librarians will have need of these books for their clients in the future so we are currently concentrating on creating an inventory we feel will be useful to those doing technical and scientific research in the coming years. back to top

We are looking for clean, tightly bound books with minimal underlining. Library markings are fine. back to top
